Poached Eggs on Toast

Poached eggs on toast is one of my favorite breakfast recipes. It is fast, easy, and healthy. Serve your poached eggs on white or brown toast. You will love them!

Ingredients

  • 2 – 4 fresh eggs
  • 2 – 4 slices of brown or white bread
  • 1 tsp of white vinegar (rice vinegar can be used as well)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

Method:

  • Add water to a pan. Bring it to a complete boil, and add in the vinegar.
  • Crack the eggs and carefully place them in the water.
  • Leave them in the boiling water for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes for runny eggs or 2 1/2 minutes to 3 minutes for solid yolks.
  • Carefully remove the eggs from the water. Place them on white or brown toast.
  • Season them with salt and pepper. Enjoy your poached eggs on toast.
