Cherry Clafoutis

Preperation time will be around 40 minutes and can be served to 8 – 10 people.

 

INGREDIENTS:

    • 1/4 cup Milkmaid
    • 1 tea spoon Butter
    • 200g Cherries (About 1 cup)
    • 2 Large Eggs
    • 1/4 Cup Milk
    • 50g Sugar
    • 30g Flour
    • 1/2 Vanila Bean

 

METHOD:

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Generously butter a 7″ tart and then arrange the pitted cherries in an evenly spaced fashion.
  • Add the eggs, Milkmaid, milk, sugar and flour into a blendar and scrape the vanila bean into it. Blend untill smooth.
  • Slowly pour the mixture over the cherries.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake until puffy and golden brown (About 25-30 minutes).
  • Slice and serve hot, dusted with powered sugar.
