The former Executive Chef of Chesa Swiss, Chef Michael Goeggerle has crafted an enticing 7 course menu for you to indulge in at the newly renovated Sunset Chalet at Mount Lavinia Hotel.

Micheal Goeggerle is now part of Mount Lavinia Hotel. Hailing from Germany, Chef Michael Goeggerle has been the executive chef at the Chesa Swiss restaurant since 2000.

Chef Michael mastered the art of cooking in Germany and has fine tuned his culinary talents not only in Sri Lanka, but across the globe as well. As a result he has had experience.​

Colombo Gourmet Week is the first week long festival in Sri Lanka celebrating food, wine and produce. The event is organised by Wine World, the premium online concierge service, in association with Galle Face Hotel. The event will commence on the 22nd of August and conclude on the 28th of August.

The festival will be broken down into stages that will consist of tasting counters, curated dinners hosted by international chefs, trainings by international wine experts and wine buffet. The week will conclude with a scrumptious fusion Sunday Brunch.

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join our journey to transform Sri Lanka into a culinary destination. We are diligently working on bringing most knowledgeable individuals in the world of food and wine to explore international cuisine, ensuring that we create a place for Sri Lanka in the world of gastronomy.
