Coconut Rotti (Pol Roti)

Roti, served with red hot katta sambol or its wonderful when you have it with fish curry .Pol Roti is one of traditional food from Sri Lanka. It is a kind of roti cooked with fresh coconut (pol).& all-purpose flour.

Kiri Bath (Milk Rice)

This dish is recognized as a dish for auspicious moments and served mainly during breakfast hours. It has become a dish prepared on the first day of every month for breakfast and a very important dish during  Sinhalese and tamil New Year.

Diya Bath

Overnight soaked Rice soup ,  This is traditional sri  lankan soup which is commonly using in local villagers.This is healthy and ayurvedic soup.

Pittu

A very popular sri lankan breakfast dish which originated from India. Served with warm thick coconut milk traditionally as an accompaniment to the dish, is now substituted with curry and katta sambol. This is a steamed dish with rice flour and grated coconut.  

Hoppers (Appa)

Hoppers made from fermented rice flour. They are fairly neutral in taste and mostly served with some spicy condiment such as ‘Katta Sambol’. This is a long term cooking method & is one of the slow food recipe in the world.
